Bringing anti-racism and allyship to the business forefront
The events of the past weeks have placed the spotlight on the long-standing racial injustices, structural and systemic racism that Black people, Indigenous People, and people of colour (BIPOC) suffer. It will take our collective efforts as Greater Vancouver's business community to stand up against racism and take action to be part of the solution.
This conversation will centre around the history of racism in Canada and address the ongoing structural inequities and racism in our society in a business context. We will delve into what your business can do and how you can lead your team in a way that inspires, supports, and lifts diverse opinions and marginalized people.
We look forward to this and more educational and engaging discussions that will advance diversity, equity, and inclusion to encourage allyship and enhance business innovation with the launch of our Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council (DLC) this August.
