GOVERNANCE

ESG is the use of Environmental, Social, and Governance factors to assess the sustainability of businesses. A framework is used to help stakeholders understand how an organization manages risks and opportunities related to ESG criteria. ESG takes the holistic view that sustainability extends beyond just the environment.

As companies face deeper scrutiny and additional reporting requirements, having a strategy, metrics, and reporting that communicate their values and impact is critical.

Greater Vancouver Board of Trade is proud to partner with BCIT to deliver the ESG Fundamentals Microcredential, a multi-day course that allows businesses to investigate their environmental, social, and governance impacts and develop a strategy to act on their values. Participants will walk away with an ESG roadmap, empowering them to be part of the transition to a sustainable and regenerative economy.
