Company of Young Professionals BIG Idea
What's your BIG Idea for Greater Vancouver in 2016?
For five years now, the Company of Young Professionals (CYP) program has hosted one of the best kept secrets in the city – Peer Leadership Forums (PLFs). PLFs are discussion groups that get together monthly to share ideas, personal goals, and insights from industry leaders.
The results are new friendships, new perspectives, and a lot of fun. Each PLF team is a diverse group of emerging leaders representing a wide variety of industries. At this event we will be adding new Members to existing teams and putting together several new teams.

What's the BIG Idea?
At this event we will be launching the first ever CYP Big Idea video contest. PLF Teams will be challenged to work together to address a community based problem which affects all of Greater Vancouver.
Industry experts will be on hand offering resources and insights that will provide a better understanding of how to address the important issue. Presenters will include Tim Manning, Chair, The Vancouver Board of Trade Chair and Regional Vice President, Commercial Financial Services, RBC Royal Bank, as well as The Annie Lambla, Manager, The Sound Consumer Insights Agency.
Top ideas will be featured at the annual CYP Leadership Forum on May 17, 2016, with the winning team awarded prizes and the title of 2016 CYP BIG Idea Champion!
