Advisory Committee applications are reviewed every summer in June.

Due to the high interest and limited number of seats on each committee, we are unable to engage all interested Members as volunteers. All applications are reviewed and considered based on the needs of each committee's activities and to ensure diverse representation that best reflects our membership and the Greater Vancouver region.

Successful applications should demonstrate:

  • Relevant expertise for the committee they are applying for.
  • Ability to work alongside high-performing individuals and provide guidance and advancement on GVBOT initiatives through time, expertise, or partner engagement.
  • Commitment to attend at least 4 out of 5 committee meetings in-person at GVBOT
  • Active membership with GVBOT
