Company of Young Professionals Leadership Cafe

Over the last year CYP Members have heard from industry experts while developing expertise in presentation skills, leadership, and negotiating to win. This event with Great Canadian Gaming Corporation offers guests a unique opportunity to put their skills to use while supporting a local leader in the gaming industry.

The casino gaming industry in B.C. generates hundreds of millions of dollars to the provincial treasury supporting charitable programs, social services, health and education. The industry employs thousands of British Columbians and is recognized by many as a unique and exciting entertainment activity. Despite these circumstances, for various reasons, many have challenges with the industry.

Following a reception, guests will hear from Chuck Keeling, Vice President of Stakeholder Relations and Responsible Gaming at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation. He will present the challenges and opportunities that the organization is facing. Participants will then be broken into teams to formulate ideas and suggestions that will address the issues. Finally, teams will present their ideas to the group and prizes will be awarded based on innovation and feasibility of ideas.

This highly interactive and engaging evening offers guests an opportunity to build strong connections, test their skills in a safe environment and support one of B.C.'s top entertainment facilities. Guests at past Leadership Cafe's have found them to be impactful, interactive, entertaining and engaging.

Capacity is limited, so register early to avoid disappointment. Questions regarding this event or the CYP Program can be directed to cyp@boardoftrade.com.
