Wendy Lisogar-Cocchia appointed as the next Lieutenant Governor of B.C.

The Greater Vancouver Board of Trade would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Wendy Lisogar-Cocchia, a Governor of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, on her appointment as the next Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia. Wendy has long been a tireless community advocate and an exemplary public servant.

In addition to her role as a Governor, Wendy is celebrated for her work with the Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN), an organization she co-founded to support individuals and families navigating autism. Along with her husband, she was honoured with the prestigious Rix Award for Engaged Community Citizenship from GVBOT, recognizing their exceptional contributions to the community.

This marks the second consecutive Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia who has also served as a GVBOT Governor, following Janet Austin’s term. We wish Wendy the best in her new appointment and know that she will serve with dedication and distinction. We also extend our sincere thanks to Janet Austin for her outstanding service as Lieutenant Governor.
