Join BCIT President Kathy Kinloch for an insightful and inspired panel discussion along with three local change-makers who have harnessed disruptive technologies to build successful businesses, create new markets and embrace bold new opportunities.

Attracting and retaining skilled people is one of the biggest challenges leaders face here in B.C., across Canada and globally. BCIT has long been at the forefront of both applied education and innovative technology solutions, helping connect graduates and industry partners to embrace, navigate and drive positive change.

The moderated panel will be a lively discussion featuring Kathy; Jeff Booth, Co-Founder, President and CEO of BuildDirect, an online marketplace for home improvement products; and Sue Paish, President and CEO of LifeLabs which performs more than 100 million healthcare lab tests across Canada each year, saving lives through rapidly changing technology. Nadia Dobrianskaia, Computer Scientist at Simba Technologies, stereotype buster and the 2016 recipient of BCIT's Student Leadership Award will also join the panel.

This inspiring panel will kick-off the Board of Trade's Disruption Series and promises to be thought-provoking, candid and informative.
