Bill McCaffrey

MEG Energy is a true Canadian success story. Built from the ground up in Alberta and founded by oil sands pioneer Bill McCaffrey, MEG Energy is focused on sustainable in situ development and production in the southern Athabasca region of Alberta.

On November 5, join Alberta Enterprise Group members (visiting Vancouver as part of an extensive business mission) and The Vancouver Board of Trade to hear about how McCaffrey built MEG Energy, his long-term vision for the company and Canada's Energy Industry.

McCaffrey will share his thoughts on how the development and export of all natural resources in Canada – from heavy oil, to LNG, to potash – are critical to a strong economic future for our country.

McCaffrey will also speak to the importance of building relationships in order to achieve that prosperous future; first nations, industry, and government of all levels must work together to create mutually beneficial outcomes.
