This virtual workshop takes a person-centred approach to universal design and creating inclusive spaces for people with disabilities. Facilitated by the Rick Hansen Foundation, this workshop will look at how access is approached and equip participants with tools for day-to-day operations.

Marco Pasqua is an award-winning entrepreneur, best-selling author, and Accessibility Consultant with Cerebral Palsy. As a Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification™ (RHFAC) Professional, he has worked with municipalities, business leaders, and policymakers to create universally designed spaces and inclusive employment strategies—including his former advisory role with the Province of BC’s Presidents Group.

Marco has collaborated with some of North America’s most influential change-makers, advocating for universal design and true inclusion. His work is paving the way for a future where all people have equal access to the spaces where they live, work, play, and learn.
