Celebrating International Women’s Day: Break the Bias

This International Women's Day, Greater Vancouver Board of Trade's Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council (DLC) is proud to join people across the world to celebrate the resilience, achievements, and contributions of women and their champions.

Join us as we learn from women who have shattered glass ceilings in male-dominated industries and are paving the way for all women and girls, and champions of women’s rights in our region who are setting an example for all.

According to the United Nations, the world has made unprecedented advances, but no country has achieved gender equality.

"Fifty years ago, we landed on the moon; in the last decade, we discovered new human ancestors and photographed a black hole for the first time. In the meantime, legal restrictions have kept 2.7 billion women from accessing the same choice of jobs as men." - United Nations

So, will you help #BreakTheBias and create a world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive for all?
