Hon. Mike Farnworth

The Government of Canada has committed to legalising recreational cannabis after July 1, 2018. Provincial governments, including British Columbia, are working to develop frameworks around distribution, retailing, public safety, the workplace and many other areas that will be affected by legalisation. Hear from Solicitor-General Mike Farnworth on the B.C. government's guiding principles for its regulatory framework, followed by a panel of industry experts and advisors on implications for employers and the workplace.
