Trading opportunities with Japan

header-japan.jpg

Japan and Canada have a highly compatible trading relationship, as each country has resources, products, and services to sell that the other needs. Despite this, bilateral trade and investment are not reaching their full potential.

In partnership with the Canada-Japan Inter-Parliamentary Group and other organisations, this event will stimulate discussion on where trading opportunities can be found and how more can be created. In light of the recent developments in our trading relationship, this is a particularly crucial time to discuss these issues.

Vancouver's cultural and business connections with Japan are very important and the Inter-Parliamentary Group is eager to hear about the challenges that importers, exporters and investors are facing and the solutions that can be developed to overcome them.

This event will bring together those who have experienced success in Canada-Japan trade and investment and those who wish to achieve their own. A panel of speakers will share their stories and take questions from the audience.
