People are one of the most important assets your company has. But many companies are at risk because they lack fundamental employment practices for successful employee onboarding and termination.

This interactive session will provide a legal lens on crucial topics including pre-employment testing, successfully preparing and implementing employment contracts, cause for dismissal, what is reasonable notice, and ethical issues in preparing for the termination.

Topics covered will include:

  • Essential hiring processes and practices
  • Termination considerations for any business
  • Policy updates to harassment in the workplace

Following the presentation guests will have the opportunity to discuss the topics with legal experts in the room. A light breakfast will be provided and non-member guests are welcome to attend.
