Meet new faces and polish your networking skills at the same time!

The Leaders of Tomorrow program's annual Speed Networking Night will take a different spin this year by connecting insights with people.

Why participate:

  • Discuss critical leadership & performance management skills necessary for the road ahead
  • Connect with students and mentors from across the Lower Mainland
  • Practice networking and rapport-building skills in a safe and fun environment

How it works:

Each roundtable will have one or two facilitators available to speak to various topics including Innovation, Leadership, Performance Management, and Credibility.

Students and Mentors will rotate to different tables throughout the night, introduce themselves, and share insights and best practices pertaining to a specific skill or field. By the end of the evening, guests will have had the opportunity to meet more than 30 people and add those new skills to their career tool kit.

Note for Mentors:

Our second Mentor Café of the year will take place prior to the Speed Networking Social from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mentor Cafés are inspired by the 2015-16 LOT Chair's goal to provide ample and appropriate resources and support for mentors and mentees alike and help them achieve their goals. You will be able to register for the Mentor Café at the time you register for the event.

This annual marquee event is limited to students, mentors, sponsors and alumni of the Leaders of Tomorrow Mentorship Program. If you have difficulty registering online or have questions about the program, please email lot@boardoftrade.com.

This event is presented by The Vancouver Board of Trade's Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Program.
