Leaders of Tomorrow Executive Roundtable with Scotiabank

This session will provide students in The Vancouver Board of Trade’s Leaders of Tomorrow mentorship program with a unique opportunity to meet and speak with senior-level executives from Scotiabank. Executives will share insights into their career progression and ideas that students may want to consider as they prepare for graduation.

About the Speaker
Winnie Leong is responsible for the delivery of financial services to personal and small business customers through a network of 134 branches across B.C. and the Yukon.
Winnie began her career with Scotiabank in 1976 and over the years has held positions of increasing responsibilities in Branch Banking, Commercial Banking and Market Management. Prior to being appointed to her current position in October 2013, she was the Vice-President of Multicultural and Aboriginal Banking for Canadian Banking.
Winnie is a strong supporter of the community, and currently serves on the Board at the United Way of the Lower Mainland and the Greater Vancouver Salvation Army Advisory Board. She was a member of the Board at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation; Vancouver International Film Festival and Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
Winnie is a graduate of Ivey School of Business Executive Program at the University of Western Ontario, and has a Personal Financial Planner designation.
Winnie is married and has three daughters.
