Members' Experience: Snowshoeing at Mount Seymour

Snowshoeing at Mount Seymour

Members from the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade and North Vancouver Chamber are joining forces for a fun and active networking opportunity on the trails of Mount Seymour.

Members from both organizations will participate in the Twilight Snowshoe Tour, a magical evening experience that you won't soon forget! Be prepared to experience the mountain at twilight with a knowledgeable guide exploring the beautiful trails of Mt Seymour!

Following 1.5hrs in the snow, we will gather in the Earl Pletch Room to relax, create new connections and build on existing ones.

About the Mount Seymour:

We are an extended family of passionate skiers and snowboarders who want to share their excitement for winter recreation with families and individuals across the Lower Mainland. Famous as a place to learn and a place to shred terrain parks, Mt Seymour creates new skiers and snowboarders who share lifelong winter memories. We pride ourselves on being independent and answerable only to our guests.

Since 1984, the Wood family has owned and operated Mt Seymour and pride themselves on staying true to the mountain’s roots by creating a welcoming, inclusive, family atmosphere and working with community partners such as Backpack Buddies, Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports, The First Nations Snowboard Team, Take a Hike Foundation and Youth Unlimited.

Located in the Mt Seymour Provincial Park on Ch’ich eliwxih Mountain (also known as Mount Seymour), the ski and snowboard area's proximity to the Pacific Ocean, eastern aspect, and the high base elevation provide an average annual snowfall of over 1,000cm.

Mt Seymour acknowledges that it operates on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
