Jericho Beach Clean-Up!

Join the Company of Young Professionals Outreach team for two fun hours at this year’s Shoreline Cleanup. Get outdoors and network with fellow CYP Members while cleaning up our beautiful city.

The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup was founded in 1994 when employees and volunteers at the Vancouver Aquarium decided to clean-up one of Stanley Park’s beaches to protect the city’s shorelines.

Fast forward 25 years and the Shoreline Cleanup is now recognized as one of the largest direct-action conservation programs in Canada. Ocean Wise and World Wildlife Fund-Canada are committed to growing the program to achieve our mission to inspire Canadians to keep all shorelines free of litter.

Important:

  • You are required to follow COVID-19- safety guidelines, including physical distancing.
  • Gloves, hand sanitizer, and trash bags will be provided.
  • The cleanup will proceed rain or shine.
  • You must complete the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup form
