Letter to Washington State Senators

On behalf of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, the 5,000+ businesses we represent across British Columbia, and indeed all British Columbians, we extend our sincere thanks for your unanimous support of Senate Resolution 8641 recognizing the strength and value of the Canada–Washington State relationship.

Your bipartisan support for the resolution underscores the deep economic, cultural, and environmental ties that bind our regions—from shared industries and cross-border supply chains to joint climate resilience efforts and integrated infrastructure.

The Greater Vancouver Board of Trade is uniquely pleased to see this affirmation of cross-border collaboration. As resolution 8641 details, we believe that we both benefit when we collaborate to enhance our economic, political, and cultural ties.
