Concerns over Air Canada Labour Disruption

Purebread Announces Strategic Partnerships with Greater Vancouver Board of Trade

Vancouver, B.C.- People are what matters most in business. In order to connect and grow, we rely on a stable, efficient air transportation system to drive economic activity, access essential goods and services, and to stay connected with loved ones.

A labour disruption at any Canadian airline, particularly one as significant as Air Canada, would have widespread consequences for consumers, employees, and businesses nationwide.

As we've experienced in recent years, interruption to critical supply chains or travel networks substantially threatens our national economy. Swift federal intervention is essential to prevent such damage.

This is why the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, in collaboration with the Canadian Global Cities Council and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce strongly urges the Federal Government to take action and avert the widespread fallout of an airline strike.
