Truth & Reconciliation Training: Indigenous Awareness

Greater Vancouver Board of Trade is pleased to be working with Indigenous Corporate Training Inc. to offer Indigenous Awareness training exclusively for our members.

During the 3-hour, live-guided virtual training course, you will gain knowledge and understanding of:

  • How history impacts Indigenous Peoples
  • How current Indigenous issues impact Indigenous communities
  • Indigenous self-government
  • The Constitutional, political and legal context of Indigenous issues
  • How Indigenous and western world views impact decision-making

The course is aimed at non-Indigenous learners with little to no knowledge of or experience working with Indigenous Peoples. This course provides generalized information about Indigenous Peoples, whether First Nations, Inuit or Metis, across Canada.
