What does it take to create meaningful change—here in B.C. and globally? At UBC, the answer begins with purposeful partnerships.
Join UBC President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Benoit-Antoine Bacon and a panel of UBC spinoff and industry leaders for a timely discussion on how collaboration is driving innovation and economic growth across British Columbia and beyond.
Guided by its refreshed strategic directions, UBC is strengthening its commitment to “partner for purpose” — working together with communities, government, and industry to advance research into real-world solutions.
This panel will explore how research partnerships are fueling progress across sectors—from powering health innovation, to advancing responsible AI, scaling B.C.-born climate solutions, and training the talent needed to grow the province’s innovation economy.
Together, these partnerships are helping deliver impact, transforming industries, creating jobs, and positioning B.C. as a global leader in research-driven innovation.
