Impact Series: Unlocking Government Funding for Businesses

Our federal and provincial governments allocate billions of dollars in the form of non-repayable grants and interest-free loans to support Canadian businesses each year. With an aim to facilitate growth and prosperity and encourage continued innovation and investment, these funding sources can play an important role in a business innovation and growth strategy. However, determining the best program for your business that aligns with your growth plans can be tricky, especially since there are thousands of programs with varying eligibility requirements, application processes, and submission timeframes.

Join us for this session where we’ll discuss both grants and SR&ED tax credits as part of a business strategy, explore methods for finding the best fit for your business, and share tips on how to maximize success.

Four specific programs with upcoming deadlines will be highlighted:

  • BC Manufacturing Jobs Fund
  • Low Carbon Economy Challenge
  • Investments in Forest Industry Transformation
  • PacifiCan Business Acceleration Pilot
