B.C.- E.U.: Trade and Investment Opportunities
In partnership with the European Union (E.U.) Consular Corp. in B.C. and EU Chamber of Commerce in Canada – West, we are pleased to present this unique trade and business development webinar to discuss what opportunities are available under the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and how British Columbians can take advantage of the post-pandemic economic recovery efforts in this jurisdiction.
As B.C.’s 5th largest export destination, with over $2 billion in annual goods exports in 2019, the European Union (E.U.) market should be high on the list for B.C. exporters and businesses looking to expand their market share outside Canada.
CETA is the free trade agreement between Canada and the E.U. member states. It grants B.C. businesses preferential access to a market of 448m consumers, the world’s largest trading bloc, a major source of investment to B.C. and a procurement market estimated at $3.3 trillion a year.
Join us for an insightful conversation and a chance to hear about high-value opportunities in the E.U. and request to meet with individual E.U. Consular Corp. in B.C. representatives after the event.
