The Company of Young Professionals Outreach Committee welcomes you to join them in their blood donation drive and become an valuable contributor in saving lives.

Canada’s blood supply is recognized as one of the safest in the world. Safety is paramount in everything we do, because lives depend on it.

The Canadian Blood Services is a not-for-profit charitable organization that was founded in 1998. Through discovery, development and applied research, they drive world-class innovation in blood transfusion, cellular therapy and transplantation—bringing clarity and insight to an increasingly complex healthcare future. With a dedicated research team and extended network of partners they engage in exploratory and applied research to create new knowledge, inform and enhance best practices, contribute to the development of new services and technologies, and build capacity through training and collaboration.

COVID-19 Wellness Measures:

• Donors will receive an oral temperature check upon arrival. Please refrain from drinking hot beverages 5 – 10 minutes before your appointment.
• You will be expected to read a Protocol document and complete a COVID-19 pre-screening questionnaire (regarding symptoms and travel).
• Canadian Blood Services supplied surgical masks are mandatory for all donors and must be worn at all times.
• You will be asked to clean or sanitize your hands and maintain a two-metre distance from one another.
• Please take a snack and refreshment after your donation and enjoy it outside the building.
