Your intellectual property may be your company's most valuable asset.

However, statistics show that only a fraction of Canadian companies currently have a strategy to protect their Intellectual Property. But we're here to help you get started.

Join us for this engaging session on strategies to secure your Intellectual Property, hosted by World Trade Centre Vancouver in partnership with the Government of Canada.

During this session, a Canadian Intellectual Property Officer will walk you through the importance of IP, identifying IP in your business, and how to best undertake a proactive strategy to protect it.

Why you should attend:

  • Get hands-on advice from a Canadian Intellectual Property Officer and learn about the importance of including a strategy for your IP within your overall business plans.
  • Better understand the ways you can use your IP to build and protect your business from competitors, use it to create important partnerships, or take your business global.
  • Canadian companies who hold IP are four times more likely to export, 64 per cent more likely to be high-growth, and 32 per cent more likely to seek financing.
