Community Gardening for Healthy School Lunches

Join your peers for a day outdoors while supporting a good cause!

Fresh Roots is a local charity working towards "Good Food For All" with the belief that everyone should have access to healthy food, land, and community. They do this by establishing educational farms on school grounds, where the food grown goes into the school cafeterias and the surrounding community.

Fresh Roots goes above and beyond just providing food — they also assist teachers and students with education opportunities in the gardens. In the summer, they hire youth giving them the opportunity to learn how to farm, cook, and grow!

By attending this CYP Outreach event, you'll be helping Fresh Roots grow even more good food this year and assisting them as they prepare for the fall and winter.

Please note: This event will be outside and will happen rain or shine, so get ready for an awesome day!
