The Greater Vancouver Board of Trade's 8th annual Indigenous Opportunities Forum will explore the important role that Indigenous peoples play in British Columbia's economy.

This year's theme is Creating Balance, with a focus on partnerships, procurement and progress. The forum will feature case studies of businesses and Indigenous communities working collaboratively for mutual prosperity and progression.

As First Nation communities and entrepreneurs continue to advance in areas of economic development, how can we make the most of potential partnerships? Chief Jimmie will provide context from his experience as Chief and CEO of Squiala First Nation and explain the dynamics of working for a First Nation community. From Nation to Nation, priorities will vary and it is important for potential partners to understand the diversity that exists for successful partnerships.
