If you're looking to excel in a constantly evolving marketplace, then you won't want to miss our Thrive Series.

These monthly events will help you stay ahead of the latest business trends, while providing a valuable opportunity to connect and interact with other motivated businesspeople from across the region.

This presentation will introduce you to three often-overlooked employment liabilities:

  • Unpredictable court severance awards.
  • Hidden employment standards liabilities: Who is really entitled to overtime pay, plus vacation pay liability on non-base pay and during statutory leaves.
  • The perils of “misclassifying” contractors: Retroactive assessments for EI/CPP, taxes but also for overtime, vacation and statutory holiday pay plus exposure to “severance claims” by contractors.

Don't miss this chance to accelerate your company's growth and become a thriving member of Greater Vancouver's business community.
