Discovery Series: Exclusive roundtable and office tour with Vancouver Fraser Port Authority

This interactive roundtable session will provide students in the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade's Leaders of Tomorrow Mentorship Program (LOT) with a unique opportunity to meet and speak with senior level executives from Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. Executives will share insights into their industry, their personal career progression, and ideas students may want to consider as they prepare for graduation.

About the speaker:

Naomi Horsford is the Municipal Executive Liaison at Vancouver Fraser Port Authority where she is responsible for managing and developing local government and community engagement programs for Canada's largest and most diversified port. Naomi has over 15 years of experience in the field of public engagement with a focus engagement programs, issues management, and project communications. She has spent the majority of her career in the marine transportation sector working on large scale infrastructure projects and initiatives. Naomi has also worked extensively with community-based health care, environment and safety organizations to deliver local services, communications and engagement programs.

Naomi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University. She is an accredited business communicator with the International Association of Business Communicators and a member of the International Association of Public Participation.
