Members' Reception: Nature Conservancy of Canada

Nature Conservatory of Canada

Join the Nature Conservancy of Canada and the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade at a unique Members' Reception being held at the top of Hotel Vancouver.

At this casual networking event you will learn about the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s conservation achievements across B.C. and Canada. You will also hear about their goal to reach 1 million acres conserved in B.C. by Earth Day 2020 and their challenge to the B.C. corporate community to become Forces for Nature in protecting B.C.’s natural places.

About the host:

The Nature Conservancy of Canada is the country’s leading land conservation organization and has conserved 2.8 million acres across Canada since 1962. Nearly 1 million (980,800) of those acres are conserved right here in B.C.

The Nature Conservancy of Canada is ambitious and set a goal in September 2015 to reach 1 million acres conserved in B.C. by Earth Day 2020.  We are proud to announce that we now stand at 980,000 acres protected, but to protect the remaining 20,000 acres in four years time will require the continued partnership and investment of thousands of British Columbians and businesses of all sizes.
