WE FOR SHE: Championing the Next Generation

Visit weforshe.ca

B.C.'s economy needs more women leaders, in business, on boards and in growing industries. Gender equity is key to helping us meet the demand for a skilled workplace, an important part of delivering the B.C. Jobs Plan.

WE FOR SHE aims to increase the economic impact of women in the province of British Columbia and will be one of North America's largest gatherings of women's organizations, companies, experts, business leaders, advocates and young women.

Now in its third year, the 2016 forum will focus on young women – and will bring established and emerging leaders together to champion change.

Why attend?

  • Discover how to prepare for the workplace of the future from Canada's top consulting firms.
  • Learn what actions have been taken by B.C. CEO's to expedite leadership diversity.
  • Champion young women from around the province by sharing career insights with them.
  • Discuss and commit to your personal action plan to help achieve gender equity.

Help us Champion the Next Gen:
Partial proceeds from every ticket sold will go towards supporting grade 10, 11, and 12 students from across B.C. to attend this event which will include both youth and adult tracks.

The WE FOR SHE conference will play an important role in growing our provincial economy and advancing gender equity by giving students a greater understanding of their career options and potential, expanding their confidence in what they can achieve, and giving them a chance to meet dynamic and successful role models.
