About the Speaker
Matt's entire career has been at EA, starting from entry level roles in marketing and customer support in the UK, to now leading some of the biggest videogame franchises in the world. He moved to Vancouver 15 years ago and has moved through the organization from the marketing teams to production and then to a business leadership role for the franchises developed at EA Canada in Vancouver, as well as EA's development studios across Asia. A constant in his 20-year career at Electronic Arts has been the EA SPORTS FIFA business around the world. Under Matt's leadership, the FIFA business has catapulted into its position as the most popular sports video game on the planet and the biggest annual franchise within Electronic Arts. His leadership style is people-first, and he's developed an enviable reputation as a leader who aims and inspires his teams to do great things. He does this whilst keeping a very positive and inclusive culture across his teams.
