We are fortunate to live in a place where we can take our electricity for granted. For decades, our province has benefitted from clean, reliable electricity that is amongst the lowest rates in North America. BC Hydro's biggest challenge is to keep it that way. With a strong but aging system and growing needs, BC Hydro is entering into a massive reinvestment in the power system to ensure that renewable and affordable power is there for the future.

As BC Hydro moves forward to renew and expand the electricity system we all rely on, there's also a need to adapt to customers' changing expectations and meet the province's conservation targets all while delivering on the 10-Year Rates Plan to keep rates low.

Join BC Hydro's President and CEO, Jessica McDonald, to hear more about how BC Hydro is evolving to better meet the needs of its customers, improve the assets that make the system work and maintain its strong commitment to the environment — by being smart about power in all they do.
