On October 24, 2014 over 20 different women's business networks made history by collaborating to host the B.C. Economic Forum: Women as a catalyst for growth. Over 400 community and government leaders along with influencers from across the Province came together to generate ideas and recommendation that have built the foundation for an action plan.

The result is a report including recommendations that individuals, businesses, and the government can take to shift the dial on gender diversity in leadership. This action plan and model of collaboration is now being discussed with groups across the province and country as an effective way to drive change.

Don't miss this opportunity to:

  • Hear key highlights and recommendations of the B.C. Economic Forum Report
  • Learn how we can all use the recommendations to champion diversity
  • Discuss next steps and find out how you can participate in the follow up event scheduled for October 23, 2015!
  • Meet representatives from numerous women's business networks from across B.C.
  • Meet local and international guests from The Next Billion Conference being hosted on May 7, 2015.

The Vancouver Board of Trade is proud to partner with The Next Billion Conference on this reception. This one-day conference being hosted on May 7, 2015 will spark conversation, challenge assumptions and enable the sharing of practical solutions among senior corporate leaders.
