Building on the success of landmark B.C. properties such as Oakridge Centre, Metropolis at Metrotown, Guildford Town Centre, the Bentall Towers, Richmond Centre, Woodgrove, Mayfair, Ivanhoé Cambridge is moving ahead with two large projects: Tsawwassen Mills, currently under construction and the Oakridge Centre redevelopment project.
 
In his address, Mr. Fournier will present how this Canadian company is playing a key role in Vancouver's future by redefining the urban living experience and the retail landscape for future generations.

About the Speaker

As Chairman and CEO, Daniel Fournier oversees Ivanhoé Cambridge's operations and investment activities, including strategy development, portfolio management and growth. He is also closely involved in the development of the Company's network of local and international partners. Mr. Fournier sits on the Executive Committee of Ivanhoé Cambridge's parent company, the leading Canadian pension fund manager Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and is a board member of Otéra Capital, a Caisse subsidiary for which he is also responsible.

With 30 years of business experience and a solid background in the real estate industry, he is a former Chairman of the Board of the GENIVAR Inc., now part of WSP Global Inc., and a former member of the Canadian Tire Board of Directors. He was also a director of the Summit Industrial Income REIT and of the Standard Life Real Estate Fund, and Vice Chairman of CBRE Canada.
