TITLE

A major contributor to the success of the LOT Program has been the active involvement and commitment of the LOT Advisory Committee supporting Board of Trade staff on various committees. The LOT Advisory Committee is comprised of LOT alumni, who were the top-performing students in their respective committees last year. As part of their commitment to LOT, Advisory Committee Members are required to lead a subcommittee and engage participants. The LOT Advisory Committee may decide to create other committees as required. They are responsible for recommending to the GVBOT directors and/or staff the following:

• Programming, speakers, events, topics and activities that are relevant to the Board of Trade and which will inspire engagement and assist in the leadership development of young professionals in British Columbia
• Issues that are particularly relevant to, and interesting for students and mentors
• Ideas for strategic development of the LOT Program
• Potential LOT Members and sponsorship prospects
